We were very good at the wrong problem.

We made excellent films for businesses that were still invisible six months later. This firm exists because we got tired of producing work that did not change anything.

For years we were hired to make things. Films, podcasts, photography, done well, to a high standard, on brief.

And repeatedly we watched the same outcome. The work was good. The client was pleased. Nothing commercial changed. Not because the production was weak, but because nobody had asked the prior question: what should this business be known for, by whom, and what is it worth once it is?

Content was never the missing piece. A position was. So we rebuilt the firm around the question that actually determines the outcome, and kept the production capability as what it always should have been. The means, not the offer.

What we believe.

Reputation is an asset, and assets get measured.

Anything unmeasured is eventually cut, and deserves to be.

Respect cannot be manufactured.

It is earned by having something to say that nobody else is saying. Everything else is familiarity.

People buy from people.

Every serious commercial decision runs through a judgement about an individual.

Quiet beats loud.

In UK business, restraint reads as credibility and volume reads as need.

Say the uncomfortable thing early.

Our value is largely in telling clients how their market actually sees them, which is rarely how they believe it does.

What we will not do.

  • Crisis communications, reputation repair or search suppression. Different job, different firm.
  • Monthly retainers below the level at which this work produces a result. We would rather decline than take money for something that cannot work.
  • Clients whose businesses are not good. Visibility only accelerates what the market discovers.
  • Turn anyone into a personality they are not. It does not work, and they can tell.

You can find out what we would tell you.

A working session with the people who would do the work. We will have looked at your market and your competitors first, and we will tell you what we see, including the parts you will not enjoy hearing.
