Who we are

Renowned is a trading name of Ministry Works Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 13264840. Our registered office is Ministry of Work, 41 New Cross Street, Swinton, Manchester M27 4TU. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

If you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, your company, your role, your email address, the turnover band you select and whatever you write in the final box.

If you email us directly, we hold that email and anything in it.

That is all. We do not ask for anything else, and there is nothing else on this site that collects information about you.

Why we have it, and our lawful basis

We use it to reply to you and to have the conversation you started. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted a business asking it to get in touch, and replying is the obvious and expected thing for us to do with what you sent.

We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not use it to profile you, and we do not make any automated decisions about you.

Who sees it

The people at Renowned who need to answer you.

Beyond that, our suppliers see it only in the course of running the systems it passes through. Vercel hosts this site and runs the code that receives form submissions. Resend turns a submission into the email that reaches us. Google Workspace carries the mailbox it lands in. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.

Nothing you send through the form is stored on this website. It is passed straight to email and the site keeps no copy. There is no database behind this site at all.

We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

If you become a client, for the life of the relationship and then six years, which is how long we are expected to keep business records.

If you do not, two years from your last contact with us, in case you come back. After that we delete it.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tracking. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

If that changes we will say so here first, and we will ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.

Where your information is held

Vercel, Resend and Google are United States companies, and each stores or processes information outside the United Kingdom in the course of running these services. All three publish data processing terms carrying the transfer safeguards UK law requires, and we rely on those.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete it
• stop or restrict what we are doing with it
• hand it over in a portable format

You can also object to us relying on legitimate interests, and we will stop unless we have a compelling reason not to, which in the case of an email conversation we almost certainly will not.

Email hello@renownedhq.com and we will do it. It costs you nothing and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say what it was.
